چکیده

Goal. To study the bactericidal activity, and bacteriostatic properties, to select most optimal effective concentrations of new disinfectant (DI) Biolaid for its effect against test culture Escherichia coli ATSS 25922 in different time exposures, determine phenolic coefficient protein index. Methods. Microscopic, cultural, biochemical, statistical. Results. The results research on properties DI are presented, main components which that after a certain break down into safe water, oxygen, lactic acid. efficiency was experimentally investigated working solutions 0.1; 0.2; 0.25; 0.5; 1.5; 4, 10% were selected according their influence during 10, 20, 30, 60 minutes. A conducted identify Biolaid, analysis proved absence. experiments indicate greater compared standard phenol solution. indicators index established, indicated decrease effectiveness this agent due contamination. Conclusions. It found 0.25% higher provided complete neutralization E. exposure 30 minutes, 0.1% minutes without manifestation properties. 7.95 times than activity solutions. Protein contamination can reduce by 2.07 times.

Bactericidal activity of human eosinophilic granulocytes against Escherichia coli.

Eosinophils participate in allergic inflammation and may have roles in the body's defense against helminthic infestation. Even under noninflammatory conditions, eosinophils are present in the mucosa of the large intestine, where large numbers of gram-negative bacteria reside. Therefore, roles for eosinophils in host defenses against bacterial invasion are possible. In a system for bacterial via...

Bactericidal activity of alpha-bromocinnamaldehyde against persisters in Escherichia coli

Persisters are tolerant to multiple antibiotics, and widely distributed in bacteria, fungi, parasites, and even cancerous human cell populations, leading to recurrent infections and relapse after therapy. In this study, we investigated the potential of cinnamaldehyde and its derivatives to eradicate persisters in Escherichia coli. The results showed that 200 μg/ml of alpha-bromocinnamaldehyde (...

Synergistic bactericidal activity of a naturally isolated phage and ampicillin against urinary tract infecting Escherichia coli O157

Objective(s): Bacteriophages are infectious replicating entities that are under consideration as antimicrobial bioagents to control bacterial infections. As an alternative or supplement to antibiotics, bacteriophages can be used to circumvent the resistance to existing antibiotics. The aim of this study was to assess the synergistic effect of a naturally isolated phage...

An LTB-entrapped protein in PLGA nanoparticles preserves against enterotoxin of enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli

Objective(s): Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli (ETEC) is known as the most common bacterial causes of diarrheal diseases related to morbidity and mortality. Heat-labile enterotoxin (LT) is a part of major virulence factors in ETEC pathogenesis. Antigen entrapment into nanoparticles (NPs) can protect them and enhance their immunogenicity.Materials and Methods: In the present study, recombinant L...
